Carlos Kuri

Carlos graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He has a strong interest in biochemistry and major cellular and molecular processes. He's the founder of KurChem and is passionate about helping others better understand complex scientific concepts and prepare for academic success. Originally from Mexico, he has lived in the U.S. for 18 years and speaks Spanish fluently.

Ingie Motawea

Ingie is currently a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying psychology and biology. She's especially interested in behavioral neuroscience, cognitive science, and how biological systems shape behavior and mental health.​ She is a first-generation college student with a deep passion for medicine and research.

Ceasar is currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Real Estate Finance & Development. While his primary interests are in real estate, he has a strong foundation in math and enjoys helping students build confidence in the subject.

Emiliano is currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in biology. While his main field of study is in biology, he is interested and has a strong foundation in organic chemistry and synthesis mechanisms. Originally from Mexico, he has lived in the US for 9 years and speaks Spanish fluently.

Carissa Lanford

Carissa is currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Biology. With a strong foundation in microbiology, she enjoys helping students master challenging concepts in the field. As an aspiring optometrist, Carissa is passionate about guiding others toward rewarding careers in STEM, whether in education, research, or healthcare.

Fernanda Kuri

DESIGN CONSULTANT

Fernanda graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Acting for the Camera. She is from Mexico, but has lived in the U.S. for the majority of her life. When she's not designing, she likes to travel – particularly to places with really good food, watch movies and TV shows, and hang out with family and friends.

Riley Teske

MEDIA CONSULTANT

Riley is currently a senior at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, where she is majoring in environmental science. She also works on campus as a student production assistant for the university’s athletics department. At KurChem, Riley oversees media production, creating videos, capturing photos, and contributing to design projects.
